Socioeconomic & Corporate Social Responsibility

“Supporting you throughout Industry 4.0”

Part of our sustainability includes investing in our local area. As well as making a positive environmental impact, we aim to make a massive socio-economic impact too.

Both of our Directors are already heavily involved in charity work for various causes, the Motor Neurone Disease Association, The Brick Homeless Charity and The Rotary Club, so investing in people and the local community is second nature to us and one of our core values here at 3D 360.

Using our own Directors’ wealth of experience in delivering consultancy engineering services, digital manufacture and hardware, production development and manufacturing, we recognise that our company is at the forefront the digital manufacturing revolution, Industry 4.0.  We want to be able to expand this digital development in our local community and bring digital skill sets to the area.

Along with our environmental policy we plan on doing this in 3 additional focus areas:

Skills, Education, and Employment – Addressing skills shortages by employing under the Kickstart and Apprenticeship Schemes. As well as this, by doing STEM outreach work to local schools and collages a minimum 3 days a year. Finally, providing quality employment opportunities for digital technologies

Growth – While in days past, the north was known as a huge industrial manufacturing hub, that slowly declined with advances in technology and movement of economic markets. Our aim is to bring about the ‘Rise of the Digital North’. By engaging with other digital manufacturing companies and their supply chains, so to demonstrate that quality digital technology CAN be part of the revival of the northern (digital) manufacturing industry.

Community – Not only being involved in their local charities, directors, Lee and Paul believe that community encompasses education, employment and basing our supply chain on the use of local businesses and SMEs. Further to that we are making it possible for our employees to claim up to 24 hours per year on charity work and to get involved in local charity or volunteering events under our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy.
